I am very proud of Michael Naughton for taking the time, caring and sharing his love to help others. Children are what life is all about. We are all children of God! The happiest people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they make the most of everything that comes along. Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss and ends with a tear. There isn't a child on earth that doesn't make me smile. If I am down all I have to do is look at a child, hold a baby and they make me smile and laugh. They touch our lives in such a way that it always makes it brighter. My prayers are with all!

Great job, Michael ! Thank you for carrying my daughters name on your sash... I guess you have re-defined the phrase, "Kid Power." May God bless and Stand Hard my friend.

Michael, thank you so much, it brings happy tears to my eyes to see the pictures, and to know that you represented our darling Daniel and so many other children so proudly. Thank you and keep on shining your light. You sound like you have a really neat Mom too. Way to go....

WOW Michael! What a wonderful story!!! Thank you Thank you Thank you for wearing my little boys name, and having it read aloud! What an honor!!!! It sounds like you guys had an unforgetable experience.

Our team last year and this is the staff and patients from the Pediatric Oncology Clinic. What a moving 24 hours it is. We look forward to walking the survivor lap with our now 3 year old since she is again walking and wants to do it herself this time. Thanks to Michael for wearing the sash and letting people know that children are struck with this disease and survive too.

Just wanted to say
  1. Michael....just how cute are you???? Way too cute!!!!!
  2. I am reading along and seeing terminology I am unfamiliar with but people are using....that's because they know there are folks out there in Squirrel Tales land that know what they are talking about!! How terrific is that....

My little one, Leah, is going in tomorrow for her first follow-up blood work and cat scan since finishing chemo on Spril 13...she just wants to know how much hair she will have by September when she starts junior high. "Can you believe it mom? Junior high next year ... I am going to be 13 mom ... get ready!!!!"

Michael, I cannot thank you enough for carrying our son Jack's name on your sash. It meant so much to us. You are such a brave little boy Well Done

Our daughter, Megan (age 5), had just finished radiation treatment for malignant ependymoma at St. Jude's and we went to the Relay for Life in our town (Rolla, MO). It was an emotional time for me -- part of me wanted to resist being involved and another part of me was saying "this is now your life -- adjust and get involved." So many survivors of so many kinds of cancer really encouraged me. Megan (now 6) is one year past surgery and in August will be one year out of treatment. I thank God for her health every day. We look forward to being involved in our town's Relay for Life again this year.
