My Statement of Faith

  1. I believe that all people are born with a sin nature.

    Romans 3:23—for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
  2. I believe in God, The Father, God, The Son, and God, The Holy Spirit. Each equal, distinct, and having different purpose.

  3. I believe that sin separates man from God.
    Isaiah 59:1,2—Behold, the LORD'S hand is not so short that it cannot save; neither is His ear so dull that it cannot hear. But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He does not hear.
  4. I believe that God sent His only Son, Jesus, to earth, to live a sinless, perfect life and then to willingly die for the sins of each person that would receive Him.
    John 3:16—"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.”
  5. I believe God’s gift of salvation is available to everyone who chooses to receive it.
    Ephesians 2:8,9—”For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast.”
  6. I believe in the bodily resurrection of Jesus, the Messiah.
    1 Corinthians 15:3-4—”For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,”
  7. I believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration of the Bible and I believe the Bible is the Word of God. It is infallible and inerrant.

    2 Timothy 3:16—All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;
  8. I believe our time left on this earth is short indeed and that believers must be about the Lord's business.
    Romans 13:11,12—"Do this, knowing the time, that it is already the hour for you to awaken from sleep; for now salvation is nearer to us than when we believed. The night is almost gone, and the day is near. Therefore, let us lay aside thedeeds of darkness and put on the armor of light."
