I think your site is great! Finally a fun place in all this tragedy. I think it would be agreat idea if you could put something together about ideas for fundraisers for parents that need financial help to pay their mendical bill realted to treatment. They are astronomical . Thanks.

  • Penny (coin drives) in schools
Classrooms/grade levels can compete a bit to raise the most money and the winner can have a pizza or ice cream party. Getting any press involved will also raise community awareness and involvement as well.

  • Raffles—my daughter's school raffled a beannie baby for 50¢ per ticket. They sold tickets to the kids for a couple months (some teachers bought tickets for the students as an incentive for a high grade etc.) They were able to raise several houndred dollars in an impoverished school by doing this.

  • Kids Against Cancer—My son, Jordan, a Wilms Tumor survivor, started Kids Against Cancer. Schools in our city raised quarters in empty film canisters, which hold $7 worth of quarters. The kids raised over $10,000 in a two-week period! The newspaper ran an article for community awareness and the kids loved the competition between schools.
