There is a young girl named Chantell,
who wasn't feeling very well.
She tried to put a smile on her sweet little face,
for Chantell always carried herself with grace.

But the illness, beginning to take control,
her parents began to sense a feeling of forebode.
Seeking for answers they could not pause
answers to questions, looking for a cause.

The answer came one dreadful day,
with no where to turn or to run away.
Cancer, it turns out was their Hidden Foe,
"for this battle we'll stand, Toe to Toe."

We will stand along side of our little girl,
with her beautiful smile and dark curls.
We will cover her with our prayers and love,
God will surround her with angels from above.

Until one day, when she is healthy and strong,
and feels in her heart a brand new song.
A song of Hope, and Faith to others she will bring,
that they too, will one day sing.

So rest for now our little Angel of Grace,
rest in the love you now embrace.
For you are not alone in this race,
others are here, your steps to trace.

You are surrounded by Heavenly Hosts,
and this "Hidden Foe" will NOT boast.
For you will emerge from this with your head held high
bidding your "Hidden Foe" a final GOODBYE!

To others a Blessing you will continue to be,
for they too will see Faith, Hope and Love, in Thee! "
