![]() Nov. 3, 2001 If I am reading this letter, it means that you are safe in the arms of your Savior Jesus Christ. You are most likely singing to him, dancing and laughing. You probably have long blonde hair up in a bun dressed as a balerina, just as you always wanted. I really can only guess at what you must be doing. I must be experiencing some very excruciating emotions at this moment. I just don't know how it feels yet. So, Andrea, why do you suppose that when a person dies from cancer, they say "they lost the battle" I personally do not believe thats what happens, because Heaven is filled with winners!! In sharing your life with cancer, you have taught me that a person should not have to fight or battle, nor do they want to beat something. It is about living the best that you are able and loving more than you have ever thought possible. So my sweet Andrea, if I am reading this letter, you have won a prize, not lost a battle. You have won the prize that we all long to have someday, to be with our Lord forever more. If I am reading this letter, please ask Jesus to comfort mommy, as she stays here and tries her best to live without you. I ask that he will let you do all the things that you longed to do here but could not. I will hug you in my spirit everyday until I am with you again. I read this letter on Jan. 16, 2002 at my daughter's funeral. Just 9 days before her 10th birthday. She is a winner!!!!!!!
